Aramis advises the Ducros family on the sale of Fauchon

Aramis assists Eucelia in the sale of Fauchon to the Galapagos group

The Ducros family has announced the sale of Fauchon, an icon of luxury gastronomy and grocery, to the family-owned Galapagos food group. The Tacquard family, owner of the Galapagos company, thus takes control of Fauchon, an internationally recognized brand founded in 1886.

Michel Ducros and his family, current owners of Fauchon via Eucelia Investments, have chosen to favor a national and family approach. This choice enables Fauchon to preserve the continuity and integrity of its emblematic brand.

The acquisition by Galapagos opens up new prospects for growth and synergies, particularly in the area of sweet products. With sales of 125 million euros and a significant international presence, Galapagos is set to strengthen Fauchon’s reach on world markets.

The Aramis team advising the seller (Ducros family) comprised partner Raphaël Mellerio and associate Gaëtan Le Page, with the participation of Cécile Peskine for commercial contracts (Link&A) and Isabelle Savin for fical (Evertax).

The buyer (Galapagos) was represented by WM Law with Wilfried Le Bihan, Héloïse Astié, Florian Desoulle and Aissatou Sourghia.
