Aramis has advised Centre Vinicole – Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte (CV-CNF) on its merger with Coopérative Régionale des Vins de Champagne (C.R.V.C.). The merger, which became effective on 31 December 2021, is an unprecedented event in Champagne for the last 25 years. It gives birth to a cooperative group named “Terroirs & Vignerons de Champagne” with the ambition to become one of the three major operators in Champagne.
Terroirs & Vignerons de Champagne represents about 6,000 winegrowers and nearly 3,000 hectares, i.e. 9% of the surface area of the appellation. This group aims at producing 24.5 million bottles and reaching 300 million euros in revenues and 5% of the market share in volume within five years.
The Aramis team included Anne-Hélène Le Trocquer (partner) and Aymeric de Mol (counsel) on corporate/M&A aspects, Nelson Da Riba (partner) and Salomé Saada (associate) on tax aspects, Frédéric Milcamps (partner) on employment law and Aurélien Condomines (partner) on competition law aspects.
